Our sex drive is a powerful thing. Deprived of it, people can do crazy things that they wouldn't otherwise do. One of them is to marry the wrong person.

In the natural state of horniness that clouds their better judgement, they marry the wrong person to get their rocks off. But sadly, like I've seen in several couples around me, the sex that they've put on a pedestal fails to materialise sometimes. Dead bedrooms, unsatisfying sex, and then even more sad things happen - adultery, divorce with kids in tow, etc.

Sexual compatibility exists. Just like how we acknowledge there's compatibility elsewhere, there is this factor here too, that has a major influence on the satisfaction in the relationship. Just because a couple has genitals doesn't mean there's sexual compatibility. And not all of it is malleable, just like in other forms of compatibility.
