So some backstory. /r/Enoughpetersonspam was created four years ago as a spin-off from /r/badphilosophy when mods of the latter felt that Peterson-related content was becoming too much and could use its own space. Per the side bar, this subreddit is primarily to lampoon 'all Peterson tomfoolery' but with a more laxed attitude toward discussion, to a point.

Since then, /r/enoughpetersonspam has continued to receive site traffic and engagement through submissions and comments. With that, of course, we've gotten a share of trolls, debate-me bros, racists, transphobes, and so on. Apparently a good chunk of whom are very angry that /r/enoughpetersonspam has shown up on /r/all but don't know how to exclude subreddits and think getting banned is the only solution? You know, morons.

After four years of this subreddit's existence, and the holiday season coming up, we could use some new blood. The immediate need is keep an eye on the modqueue, maybe a couple times a week depending on personal availability, to approve or remove reported content and hand out bans to those no longer welcome. However this is also open to a new generation of mod staff as just part of the overall evolution of the subreddit.

So if you're interested, do not comment in this thread as we aren't likely to regularly check these comments, but message the mods and we'll give consideration. Brand new accounts will not be accepted and, if accepted, mod permissions will initially be limited and then expanded after a trial period.
