Is it possible to use a diesel powered generator to power a servo controlled machine? We've sold a machine to China and don't have a transformer that's large enough. Would renting a generator be an option in order to drop the voltage down to 380? My concern is that the generator wouldn't be able to generate the power fast enough to supply the servos. I've noticed that with smaller generators and handtools that kicking that motor on will usually result in the tool not spinning up as fast as it would if it was plugged in the wall. Until the generators able to pick up it's own speed and generate the right amount of power. If this occurred with our machine I imagine the drive would throw an error when they are not being supplied with the correct amount of power.
