Ill start with the story. So last night as I was in bed trying to go to sleep, I experienced something new.

I slipped into the half awake half asleep state, that in-between state before one truly falls asleep. Not the new thing. Anyway this time while in this state I kinda sat up a little and extended my hand toward a spot in my room. There were some clothes over there.

I felt this energy growing in my hand and then grab something from that area. Then just as quickly, I pulled that object from across the room, hitting myself in the face with it. It felt like a cloth smacking me in the face. In the moment I thought small wash cloth. It then bounced of my face landing on the floor to my left, on the left side of my bed. I sat there for a moment feeling the energy in my had slip away, and then looked over my bed on the floor. But there was nothing physically there, though I could feel something there.

I then woke up fully, still looking at the floor like WTF, and turned on the light to see if I missed something. That was about it.

I was like what the hell did I just smack my face with. I know I was not dreaming as I had not entered that state yet, and I know the feeling of a dream. It was not astral projection as I was still in my body. But I figure I may have smacked myself in the face with some astral object, or perhaps the astral form of one of my socks, lol.

Anyway I wanted to make a post and see what others thoughts may be. Regardless it was an interesting experience, one that I would like to try and replicate. Thanks for reading.
