Ovarian cysts while taking Orilissa and 2nd laparoscopy.
Post Body

Has anyone ever gotten ovarian cysts while taking Orilissa? I had the laparoscopy done in October of 2021, and I was good for a long time. Until this past Christmas(2022), my endo flared up so badly, it felt like it did prior to the surgery. I tried to push through the pain, until I finally broke down to schedule an appointment with my ob/Gyn(the same doctor that did my first lap) in the middle of January. He sent me for an ultrasound, that I had this past Friday. I had a follow up with him right after. He told me I had a cyst on my ovary that shouldn’t be there, since the Orilissa drops your estrogen and you don’t ovulate as usual. He gave me my treatment options and we agreed that a second laparoscopy would be the best option, plus he can get a better idea as to what the cyst is. They scheduled my surgery for next Tuesday 2/14. My rational brain knows that everything will be ok, my my irrational brain is flying off the handle. I guess I’m mostly worried that they’re not going to find anything or a cause to this pain and that I’m just going crazy.
