I've seen a few people mention that you can increase your reputation with the Quarg enough to harvest from their already broken ships by repairing their broken ships. I'm wondering when in the Wanderer quest line that occurs? I am on the quest were the republic just gave me a nuke and there are enough ships to take out the 4 Quarg ships that came along. Is this where I can repeatedly repair Quarg ships to farm reputation or is that later?

If I'm completely wrong then is there a way to get skylances without pissing off the Quarg?
