So after enjoying the new E5 for about a week the noise has driven me batty.. and i decided to see about upgrading the board.

I spoke with a guy who i buy many printer bits from and i arranged for him to preload a skr 1.3 with firmware for me. I was under the impression that i would be able to drop that board in, keep the stock screen and still use the sd slot without modifying the case (while i can easily do that i really didnt want to cut it up when i just paid $800 for it).

I think it was a bit of error on both sided, but it is what it is and now im left trying to figure out what i can do from here.

i was planning on using octoprint in the future anyway, but i didnt want to remove the ability to use the sd slot completely.

Would i be able to get some advice and suggestions please?
