Ender 5pro/plus Motherboard

I have an ender 5 pro and an ender5 plus. The plus has a stupid board and runs REPRAP and all outdated info etc so I want to convert back to stock but was thinking what if I just took the one out of my 5pro to make sure it was straight forward drop in before I ordered one or should I just send it for a big tree tech or somthing different? I really wanna start this project but don’t want to waste money or buy somthing that won’t work the best
