This thing is driving me nuts……
Ender 5 pro.
Board upgraded to 4.2.7
BLTouch
Firmware:
Ender-5 Pro-V4.2.7–32bit-TMC2225
Marlin2.0.1-V1.1.1-BLTouch(without adapter board)
From https://forums.creality3dofficial.com/download/ender-series/ender-5-pro/
I had this problem:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Cura/comments/daj7xp/purge_line_comes_out_nicely_and_sticks_to_bed_but/
which does not list the fix there in the post. The actual fix was to install the Z offset plugin in Cura and set that to -0.35
Once I did that I at least got a first layer going down and sticking reliably.
However, now it seems to be doing other really odd things.
It seems to not print outside layers on vertical walls…. And on the smaller part it didn’t even print the brim correctly (it does not go all the way around the print). I have no idea what it is doing, and if my problem is in the firmware or in Cura or whatever.
The textures on the upper layers look horrible as well.
Anyone have a good idea about what might be going on here?
