So I recently fired up an Ender 3 I have had for a while but never used, because my Makerbot died and I have a commissioned print job to finish. And I matched the settings more or less to what my Makerbot had, because through trial and error that's what worked best for my filament.
And...my god...what is taking this raft so long? I have been printing for three hours, and it isn't even 1% done because the raft is still printing. No wonder it estimated a 30 hour print, when half of that time is going to be the raft.
I am using the Creality Slicer. My current settings are 90mm/s print speed, 45mm/s for supports and outer walls. I don't see any place in the custom settings to adjust raft thickness, structure, or speed.
How can I adjust this, because I cannot have this be a regular wait time for all of my prints. The Makerbot look maybe 15-20 minutes to do its largest raft. I'd rather not eschew rafts entirely, I need the best adhesion I can get, and the parts are always sanded and smoothed afterwards anyway.
