A few days ago I found my board had died on my ender 3.. Typical as I had just finished the orders for Christmas and could now print for myself... After speaking in a Facebook group people convinced me to upgrade away from the creality board, so I ordered a mks gen L. I guess I've been a little sleep deprived as I clicked buy without asking the right questions or completely missed something. Board was delivered today but still have to wait for the stepper drivers. I know it's not going to be a simple plug and play, and after watching a teaching tech video I see I will have to print a whole new enclosure for the board.. But unsure how I can do that with the printer not working? Should I be ok to just install and have the board sitting under the printer until I can print what's needed? Could anyone also help me find a firmware ready to go for an ender 3 with bltouch?
