Help! was clearing out the inside of the extruder and the rod is now stuck inside!

I was having issues with the extruder out of nowhere, it started printing really weak and spindly. I tried insterting the cleaning rod down the extruder to get out any stuck filament, now it’s stuck in a mechanism of some sort. This may very well be a consequence of terrible problem solving, but it’s happened now, and I’m worried I might break the extruder if I try anything else rash.
