I'm a tech specialist for a school district. I am new-ish to the world of 3D printing--the ones I use the most here at the schools are Creality Ender 3 S1 Pros, with PEI plates. They actually work great with minimal issues for what we use them for and the PEI plates are the cherry on top. Anyway, we just got a Creality CR-30 and I put it together. I wanted to see where home was set to so I used the auto home feature and it FREAKED out. I can't tell for sure whether the belts are slipping, or what's going on. Moving the extruder up and down and side to side very gently feels perfectly fine--just the right amount of resistance for a stepper motor system, and the belts seem to operate properly when I do this. (Again, gently).
Any ideas? I also want to point out--I'm questioning the quality a bit... the print belt came caked with stuck test filament that couldn't have been bothered to be cleaned off prior to being shipped out, and it claims I'm supposed to have 6 M5T nuts but it only came with 2, so I have nothing to use to mound the filament roll holder.
