Lost servoshell?

Hey people,
This post contains some very light spoilers for the first part of the game (I haven't finished it yet).
I had just fought in the arena in Junktown, after which I was granted the damaged servoshell of the last opponent. I happily equipped it, and headed for Magellan base. As I headed in the front entrance, the lift malfunctioned, and I had to unequip my servoshell to make my way out via a ventilation shaft. This was an hour or so ago, and I haven't managed to get back into said lift to retrieve it.
So my question is - did I just lose the servoshell, or is there some way to get it back? Thanks in advance.
