Long story short... Fingers and wrist (left) was incredibly sore for the last month. It wasn't really getting better and I just so happened to so gaming for about a week.
Hand was perfect again after a week. Played for four hours over two days on streets of rage 2 & 3 and boom, pain is back.
I have other chronic pain problems and gaming is of the few things that helps me relax and take my mind off the pain (daily pain, not hand pain).
I use an Xbox one controller daily, but have access to PS4 controllers too, just haven't tried the PS4 controller really since the pain started.
I use a PC, playing AAA PC games and retro games via emulation.
Does anyone with the same condition have a controller recommendation that I can try? I need two analog sticks or an alternative way of using the second analogue stick.
It seems like using the left analogue stick is the cause of the pain, as I am a programmer and can type all day on a keyboard with no issues.
I'm open to trying anything as I really don't want to lose one of the last few pastimes that I can actually do, given my chronic pain issues.
I play from bed as my PC is in our bedroom and wireless would be preferred due to that, but it's not a deal breaker.
Thank you in advance
