I work a rural service that I get enough time to cook home at. Planning and cooking them gives me something to look forward to when I gotta be here 48 hours at a time. My favorite things to do are pozole roja and chicken and dumplings in the winter and carne asada and fried chicken with all the fixins in the summer. Since really committing to it every shift I've seen an improvement in not only my morale and motivation, but my partners as well.
What do you do to help your morale and give you something to look forward to coming in for?
