To Varhun Hasan-Jalil, Prince of Khachen

The Principality of Khachen and the Safaviyya have very similar goals. Our enemies are plenty, and as the people of Khachen are People of the Book, I believe that we may be able to work together. I soon plan to march my forces onto Shirvan, taking it for the Safaviyya. From there, our eyes will turn to the White Sheep, which I am sure Khachen is similarly interested in destroying. As such, I offer an alliance between the Order of Safaviyya and your most noble Principality. With your help against Shirvan, I shall take control of the entirety of Shirvan and help secure the independence of your Principality.

As such, I, Esmāʿīl ibn Haidar, request one of your daughters. She is to convert to Islam and marry me, solidifying the alliance between us.
