Post Body

Bayezid II, in his eternal wisdom, has granted William IX a small army to command. Formerly a Roman adventurer, now a pious servant of Allah, William IX has been granted a force of 4000 swordsmen and 2000 light ranged infantry to invade the Mani peninsula, home of the fearsome maniots. He advises William to train his men in the ways of wild-dog-fighting, as the ten-man-strong army of the Maniots is said to be escorted by a pack of five ravenous wild dogs.

Bayezid II has also given his son Selim the troops he needs to fight against the Safavids. Selim has already begun to prepare the offensive.
