Firstly all of the ship building and planning is on pace and we are on schedule to depart by the late spring of 1487. Secondly, and more worryingly my Lord, we cannot supply all the ships for this expedition without serious monetary support from our fellow members of this expedition."

"Very well Lord Bothwell, write to our expeditionary partners and request for monetary aid. We cannot build these ships alone."

My Lords,

Scotland is thoroughly committed to this endeavour, just as you surely all are. However, we are not as rich as your nations and the building of 4 of the ships to embark on this expedition has taken its tolls on our coffers. Therefore my Lords, we Scots humbly implore you for your support. We cannot bear the brunt of the costs for this expedition alone. We are hoping the total donations from all of our expeditionary allies to reach 30,000 ducats.
