Post Body

Hello, as some of you may know, I am one of the more recent mods, SoaringBirds. Now then, I know most of you have seen the recent declaimings done out of anger at situations that have arisen. While I fully understand having anger at situations that go poorly, we as a community must strive to rise past that, and work to better the community by seeing what makes a bad situation unfair and the like. However, we must also create a system that has players seek these routes of contacting the mods about a situation in order to fix it, instead of giving into the anger that lasts for moments, rather than the enjoyment that lasts much longer. As such, we as mods have decided that if anyone declaims their nation because of anger(also known as a "ragequit") then they will be given a one week "timeout" from the subreddit, no posts they make will be acknowledged by the mods or the community and are subject to being removed during this time. After the time is up the person will be allowed to return to the community without any stigma against them, as this time away is for their benefit, to allow them to cool down and think things through. If multiple codes of conduct are broken then the user is subject to a ban from the community and subreddit. These rules shall be put into effect as of now, but do not apply retroactively.

Thank you for reading, SoaringBirds
