The Royal Chancellor was angry. Merchants from his country had purchased Danish soldiers and attempted to take area from another country. He had just returned from a session in front the Sejm, trying to barter for a peaceful solution. Fortunately, he was successful. I just hope those Slavs let the soldiers go unharmed. I specifically instructed them to not harm anything or anyone. He summoned his assistant. "Tell them we failed. Take 20 of them and send them to Poland. And bring those soldiers home as fast as you can. I don't completely trust those men." I'll tell them that the others escaped, and because of that, I sent all of the ones I captured. That should appease them. As his assistant left, the Chancellor leaned back and sighed. Some day, we will control the Baltic. But I guess that it will be later rather than sooner. Rubbing his face with his hands, the Chancellor began to think and looked at his map. On it, an area was marked, showing the region he intended to unify and control. Baltoscandia, he mused. Chancellor of Baltoscandia... I like it. With that, in spite of his failure, the Chancellor smiled, and began to write a letter.

[Meta] I'm assuming that all thoughts, in italics, are to be considered secret. This post is supplementary to the post showing the discussion, just fleshing out my character some.
