Duke George, reigning over the Duchy of Saxony, the Margraviate of Meissen, and until rather recently, Governor of Friesland, has been scorned. Not by any personal feud, or lost glory, but the incompetence of his brother Heinrich. His inability to crush a simple rebellion ended the reach of their family in Friesland, and undoubtedly besmirched the good name of the Albertine Branch of the House of Wettin.

Nonetheless, there is still a place to be had in the sun. There is still the opportunity to rise above the unfortunate circumstances he finds himself in, and to truly make a name not only for himself, but his family, and his Duchy.

Intrigue is always around the corner, the spider’s web is always being strewn, and only God almighty knows what may happen next!
