Retro to when Hormuz was taken

The Bengali eunuch Cogeatar ruled Hormuz with the boy King Seyf Ad-Din as a puppet. Cogeatar would regret resisting the Portuguese fleet, losing his life and limb for his resistance. However, no harm would come to the 12 year old King Seyf Ad-Din.

A new regency council of more friendly locals would be formed to manage the regency of Seyf Ad-Din. The boy king himself, along with his 6 year old brother are to be given Portuguese tutors in addition to their local ones.

The Emirate of Hormuz would be ruled as an indirect vassal of Portugal. Beyond the royal guard the Emirate will be disarmed, defense and regulation of trade will fall to Portugal, and all other matters of state will belong to King Seyf Ad-Din once he reaches majority and his regency council until then. Additionally, a yearly tribute of 15,000f will be paid to Portugal as tribute.
