Why dont people like me?

So I have a "friend" who I know for a long time. Today I tried to make plans but he seems to not want to make plans. They made plans with my roommate and did not invite me even tho I asked if they wanted to do something tonight.
I always try to be understanding, friendly and honest. I can make mean jokes but if people tell me they dont like it, i stop and apologise.
wtf is wrong with me? This happens to me a lot...
