I have both trauma and neglect. My response is largely on the hypo-arousal end of things. I withdraw, hide, run. I don't let people get close. I people please to avoid or postpone confrontation.
Most of hte trauma advice and therapy is targeted toward people who are overwhelmed by their flashbacks. On another subredit, I asked for resoruces for people who were functional, but lived only in their heads, never in their hearts.
One reditor suggested I look for resources for Schizoid personaltiy disorder.
