So I was always a nervous person. Would dry heave before stressful situations. In 2018 I had extremly stressful situation. Then my body got used to the dry heaving/urging and it was a constant struggle as my body wanted it 24/7. I think I got over it with exposure etc
Now it’s back again. This time I have social anxiety over it as afraid to freak out in front of family. Also I have to stop talking at times as the urge is there even with talking! I know it’s all mental thing. It’s even there when I’m playing with my kids etc. It’s ruining my life. My doctor put my on anti depressant for it. Which is making me nausea for now but I needed something as I wouldn’t eating etc
So I always have this weird feeling in my mouth to urge. Im trying exposure but looking for ways to get rid of this weird feeling in my mouth. I can look at throw up and it doesn’t bother me at all. Im doing cbt as well who said to bring water with me
Any help greatly appreciated
