I am feeling so shitty rn. For context: I have been working a lot at my summer waitressing job, and haven't been getting enough sleep. Bc of that, I have been drinking a lot more coffee/Diet Coke for a little "pick me up" during long shifts. I just came home from a 12 hour shift, during which I had a grande Starbucks coffee, 3 diet cokes, and then another canned starbucks espresso drink. I just calculated it and thats 450 mg of caffeine today. wow. and ofc now I am nauseous, anxious, shaky, sweaty and convincing myself its bc im sick and not bc ive had double the amount of caffeine recommended in one day. Not to mention I am 5 foot and 110 pounds.. so thats just way too much caffeine for me. Anyway. Does anyone else have experiences like this with caffeine, especially when they drink more than usual? I usually stick to one cup of homemade coffee a day and am fine, but today I was just tired and stupid and kept drinking without remembering how god awful it feels to have this much caffeine in my system. Drinking a looottt of water rn to try to flush it out but WOW I am never doing this again.
