Ok so i've always hated puking, but last year, I had an intense episode of idk what happened but I threw up for a solid 4 hours non stop (tmi but like really intense filled up 5 garbage bags, it came out by my nose too and I had diarrhea at the same time it was awful, I was even hospitalized by ambulance bc I have crohns disease and wanted to make sure if I was fine) any how, since then my fear got out of control like i'm horrified every time i have nausea (and with crohns i have it often) bc I soooooo don't want it to happen again. One year and a month later (yesterday) it happened again. Not AS bad but still bad, puked for a solid 2-3hrs and with diarrhea & sweats and lightheadedness it was horrible and now I am traumatized even more like how often will this happen?!? Every year? I'm soo so so scared. I feel like I will live my whole life in fear. Especially bc idk what causes this and doctors last time didn't really know either said "it happens" but like I need to know why it happened bc I want to prevent it I hate throwing up. Today i've been anxious all day with anxiety nausea and I keep imagining it and crying and I even can imagine the smell and taste again, like i randomly smell it even if i am not really. I called my dad bc my partner was working and needed reassurance and my dad said it was ridiculous and problematic. I wont eat i'm horrified to even drink water. I ended up having a banana and broth and my dad got pissed at me saying i will cause more problems if i dont eat and he isnt understanding and says my fear is baby and irrational for a 23 year old. What can I do to help this???? I can't live like this anymore, it's been one tiring year.
