Hello,
I would like to land a remote job in an embedded engineering field.
My goal would be to land a starting or jr position to get more experience under my belt, so ideally a night shift job would be better, and money would not be the priority.
Unfortunately, I don't have much experience in this particular field so I have the following questions:
1) How big is the market for embedded engineering from remote locations?
2) Does getting freelancing* experience gives you a better chance of getting hired? If yes what kind of jobs are more valued?
3) What are my chances of landing such a job, if I am from Latin America? What websites/companies would give me better chances?
*As an alternative to freelancing, are there any opensource projects related to the embedded field, where one could contribute and gain experience?
