DPC latency on GP series?

hi all!
i was thinking i'd replace my max 15 g3 that i use for both gaming and audio production with a newer model until i looked at the DPC latency chart at notebookcheck. the newer models are listed at over 6,000 ms! i think the max 15 was around 300? they say anything under about 1,00 is fine.
are they really that slow? what's the deal?
