Couple questions, hope I’m not bothering most

Ok so I’m a Mad Paradox guy but my CP is around 100k, I’m seeing people with around 1 mil which is a little crazy as they’re one shotting bosses that take me a few minutes to clear. I’m sure that takes a LONG time to attain but how is that mostly done?
Also I heard making a character just to farm items and ED is pretty popular aside from a main and I narrowed down my choices between Innocent with LuCiel and Radiant Soul with Laby
Any and all tips are helpful
