Hey folks, I know a ton of y'all play guitar here so I thought this post would be helpful. This post is meant to help those interested in trying to replicate Elliott's live acoustic sound.
Elliott mainly used a Bill Lawrence A-300 Pickup in his acoustics. Luckily, this exact pickup is still in production to this day! You're able to find it on Amazon for $65.

Starting around 2000, Elliott began switching things up. He began using the Fishman Rare Earth pickup mainly in his J-45's but starting around 2002 he had put the Fishman pickup in his Yamaha as well. You can also purchase this pickup easily on Sweetwater for around $200.

So there ya go, hopefully this'll help ya replicate Elliott's sound, if y'all got any more tips on how to get closer, I'd love to hear!
