Mapping thoroughly.
Post Body

What tools and strategies exist to map a complete sector/square of the galaxy map?

Say 2.340 : xxx : 6540 for example.

I'm out here exploring but it seems wasteful cutting randomly through everything. I want to be more specific and intentional.

Thanks for any help.

Edit: The galaxy map can be set to "not visited" stars.

To do this, go to the Navigation tab > Galaxy map > 4th tab(with the 5 little stars) > change the view to "Map" from Realistic > Under "Map View Configuration", click the top menu and choose "Visited Stars" > Select "Not Visited" only.
