Elgato Recording Corrupts after a while

Hi Reddit,

I've been using an Elgato HD60 Capture card for several years now, and no matter which computer I try it on, I always encounter the same couple of issues. If I record for longer than about 30 minutes, the video will start getting corrupted. I can usually cut it out using the Edit feature afterwards, but I was wondering if this was a known issue? Just to clarify, I'm using the official Game Capture software and the quality isn't set too high.

Another smaller issue I'm facing is that the passthrough video on the TV likes to cut out every couple minutes. It only lasts a second or two but you can imagine that in a lot of games, this gets annoying pretty quickly. What's weird about this is that it only happens when recording, and the video produced only shows the event as a small audio hiccup. And when I'm not recording but just playing on the TV, there are no issues like that at all.

If anyone could provide assistance with either or both of these issues, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank You!
