My most precious sample yet, Polonium! Straight from Oak Ridge, my Polonium has finally arrived. A volatile metal, it is best kept sealed in its container. For these photos, it was quickly and temporarily removed while I wore proper PPE. Details below.

The circle in the middle of the metal is the Polonium, with its distinctive silvery-white color, as opposed to the surrounding Bismuth's silvery color. Disclaimer: this is 0.1 uCi of Po210, an NRC License Excempt quantity and was legally purchased and is handled appropriately. Do NOT purchase Polonium if you do not have the proper personal protection equipment. Area thoroughly checked for contamination with an alpha sensitive geiger counter.
