Constant Current Dummy Load Build
Post Body

Inspired by an EEVblog post, this is my build of a constant current dummy load.

It can pull about 1.2A. Very useful to test power supplies.

Connect power supply to the top two test posts, connect DMM to the bottom test posts and set it to DC volts. The DC volts will indicate the amperage. Set amps with the pots. Left pot is course and right pot is fine.

Imgur album with schematic, pcb, and build pics.

Diptrace schematic and PCB files are here (rar).
