So kinda as the title says, I currently have a push button switch, that is 2 wires and normally a open circuit, it only closes while it is being pushed, when you release the switch it goes back to NO, it screws into a manual transmission. Iā€™m trying to figure out a way to make the switch function as a SPDT circuit for what I am doing, so I need it to be 3 or 4 wires and have it operate as one set is NC and the other is NO when the switch is pushed it switches them until the switch is released. I need two wires to be NC for a neutral wire to start the car, then when the car is in gear, it switches to reading that it is in drive and not neutral. I know I could use a relay, but hoping there is a more simple way to achieve this! Any help is greatly appreciated! I can not buy a transmission push switch that is 4 wires and works as I need.
