So I have a baby beast that I used regularly, so I went ahead and bought some coils in bulk without doing any research first. They sent me coils for the big tank. Instead of returning them, I just went to my local BM and picked up the TFV8 big tank. I absolutely love it. It came with the T8 coil already installed and the clouds and taste is just awesome. That coil lasted me almost a month with pretty heavy use. Yesterday, it finally started tasting burnt, so I replaced it with one of the Q4s I bought in bulk. It tasted absolutely horrible. I was really mad, especially because I see that SMOK catches a lot of flak on here. Rightfully so, as I had an alien mod that never worked right out of the box and died within a month. I thought I found a great product tho with this tank. So, I take out the Q4 and put in one another T8. It didn't even fit right! I got juice all over the place and was beyond pissed at SMOK. When I got home, I did a bit of research and seen that other people had a lot of the same issues. Then I found out about the clone market. My tank was definitely real as it has the verification code on the box and I looked at the differences between it and the clones. So, I still had a Q4 that came with the tank, popped it in, and now I'm happy again. Its not the same as the T8 but its still pretty great. Now I compare these coils to the bulk coils I got and sure enough, I bought a bunch of clones. No verification codes on the boxes and you can even look down into the coils themselves and see that they are piss poor quality. Whatever, the clones were cheap and now I know better. I'm looking at SMOKs website to order some real ones and to my surprise, they are expensive as hell. They want 25 dollars for one T8. Is this the going rate? I feel like thats very expensive for some coils. Does anyone know any reputable dealers with real coils for cheaper? I appreciate any help.
