Davide BDC Glassomizer, or something similar?

So tonight I'm ordering wife's birthday gift. Part of that is the Davide BDC Glassomizer. She and I both like the idea that it can use either Aspire BDC/BVC or Kanger Protank coils. But I never see anyone talking about that great feature. Is it a bad tank, or is there something better/cheaper (limited budget here) with the same features?
And no, neither of us are looking at rebuilding. We don't have thehands for it.
