Hey everyone - long (medium?) time reader, first time poster. I got my first ecig in September, switched to a refillable eGo style battery and atomizer in October, and haven't smoked a cigarette since then. I don't really have any vape stores anywhere near me so I can only order things online at the moment. I don't have any friends who vape (or smoke) either. I'm still using a 510 eGo style battery and some atomizers I got on eBay for like $1 each and I'm not sure where to go from here, though I'd like to upgrade my setup.
For the most part I'm happy with it, but I'd like something that hits harder and lasts longer. I've seen variable voltage batteries and think I'd like to try one of them but I'm a little bit confused as to how they actually work. Is there a high capacity, easy to use variable voltage battery I should look into? Also, I'm a bit confused about "mods" and what exactly they are. What would be a good "starter" mod? Also, does that atomizer (/cartomizer) really make a difference? Should I invest in a good one, or are the cheap ones I bought on eBay just as good? The original one that I got was an "iClear" and cost more, and I don't notice much of a difference. Money isn't really an issue if there's an atomizer that provides more, better vapor or some other benefit I'm unaware of.
Thanks in advance for any answers! I might ask some clarifying questions, because like I said I'm still pretty new to this and uninformed.
UPDATE
Thanks for the help everyone. I picked up the Innokin iTaste MVP 2.0 and an Aspire Nautilus and they blow away the eGo I was using.
