Are disposable vapes taking over?
Post Body

I used to be all about the mods, frequenting my favorite vape shops and tinkering with rebuildables. But recently, I've seen those same shops swap out their rebuildable sections for rows upon rows of disposables. And it's not just there ā€“ even gas stations are stocked with disposable vape options.

It's got me thinking about the nature of markets and how they evolve over time. Convenience seems to be the name of the game now, and disposables offer just that. I'll admit, I was skeptical at first, but after receiving an eco nano as a gift, I gave it a try and haven't looked back. The simplicity and ease of use are hard to beat.

But with the UK's impending ban on disposable vapes, it's made me pause and reflect. Maybe this is the push the industry needs to get back to its roots of innovation and creativity. Perhaps it's a chance for companies to rethink their approach and find more sustainable solutions.

I would go through a ā€œreputableā€ disposable vape in a day or two. With dispos running for $20-$40? No way. Canā€™t spend that much on nicotine. I spend about $80-$120 a month on my coils and juice, and thatā€™s if I go to my usual shop with great discounts. Disposables donā€™t suit my lifestyle whatsoever.

For my friends in college, however? They rely on them. Theyā€™ll use the same one for about a week or two, and make them stretch. Itā€™s really odd, when they can spend less and get a good mod, but for them itā€™s not about efficiency. Itā€™s about a quick, convenient fix. For them, disposables work.

Iā€™ve grown to be less hostile about disposables thanks to my friends. I wouldnā€™t use them myself, due to how much I vape in a day, but I understand why they do. Iā€™m saddened that the market has shifted, though I will say that Iā€™m glad there are varied choices for everyone. In the end, Iā€™m happy as long as my friends stay away from tobacco.

On the plus side, my friends find my mods to be enjoyable lol. They love how fast I hotbox their cars LMAO. Iā€™m content to be the party trick.
