Geekvape aegis x not working or charging

So I got a second hand aegis x working perfectly then I put it on charge one day came back after about 30 minutes and it was overheating. I took out the batteries and cooler it by a fan but ever since it has stopped working and charging or even showing any signs of life. Can anyone help?
