CO2 emissions comparison: Electric vs internal combustion

I could not see any previous posts on this topic in this sub-reddit. I was trying to see how EVs and hybrids compare to internal combustion cars if the electricity was generated using fossil fuels. I found some good data here LINK (the alternative fuels data center). I see that most states have a mix of fuel sources used for generating electricity. Interesting data. Electrics and hybrids do have lower CO2 emissions overall, after taking into account emissions from power generation.
