How far are we from a sub $35,000 crossover EV in the US?

Post Body

I've been tracking EVs for a while. While I love the look of many crossover EVs like the VW ID.4, Hyundai Kona, and Mustang Mach-E, none of these are sub $35,000 before the tax credit (AKA more upfront cost). How long until you think we get there in the US?

Sidenote: I REALLY wish the ID.3 was being sold here, as I would seriously consider buying it. It's the only hatchback EV with good range I like currently. As of right now, I'm planning on trying to find a great deal on a used Model 3 under 35k next year. I would really love a cheaper crossover EV instead however.
