I was changing a lightbulb for my mom. She had a CFL go out. I noticed the thing still flickering a little even after turning the switch to off.
No noticeable current on the stem of the fixture I had to remove.
Replaced with an LED. I had my gloves on holding the fixture up and couldn't get a grip on the screw, so I asked her to pull my glove off.
She got up from the bed (static) and shocked me through my leather gloves, I felt it move across my arms to the other hand and it shocked the metal piece of the fixture I was holding.
I suffer from anxiety, so I immediately thought the worst. There is no burn like you hear about from extreme shock but I'm worried this caused ventricular fibrillation just cause that came up on Google with electric shock. Is that possible?
I don't have any symptoms except I extremely spooked because moving from one hand to the other felt weird. Should I be worried?
