I have a night owl CCTV system that uses (i think) about 20 watts and then 2-3 per camera. It's a newer night owl 5.0.
The inverter is 2000k watts and I have basically unlimited car batteries because it's being installed at a junk yard. How many would I need for a night of recording roughly? Can you hook up multiple batteries to a inverter? Should you not run an inverter that long, if so what's ok length of time ?
I can also fill up gas tank of a junk but running car and leave it running over l night with inverter if that would be better ? Would either of those ways damage my inverter?
