This is a 3 amp 125V ceiling fan light switch that's pre-cut to 3/4th of an inch. I have a different one that's cut to 1/2 inch that's going in a different ceiling fan and I only have wire connectors for 3/8, 1/2, and 5/8th of an inch.
I'm the type to follow the instructions beat for beat but this is just something that's been sitting around my grandmother's house for years and I found the model online but no associated instructions.
I'm not sure if cutting the wires shorter was a part of the original instructions or if it absolutely has to be 3/4th of an inch.
