About to cut a hole for ceiling light. Need advice.
Post Body

Question is, I’ll be cutting a hole but it’d in shiplap. Homeowner says it has to be perfect bc they can’t fix the ceiling if I fuck it up.

I don’t have an oscillating tool. I think I am gonna skip using a hole saw just in case it decides to grab something and make the bit walk off.

I have a wood bit for my dremel, basically a rotors set up. Think I’ll be okay using that?

Never have cut out a hole in shiplap so seeing what’s the best way to do it. Don’t want wood to splinter or chip or anything. Thanks gang.
