Estimating flat rate quote
Post Body

Hi there , first post here. I am going to do a little side Job for my dad's neighbor, I've done little jobs hourly before but this is my first flat rate job, Im generally not very good at figuring out what to charge.

It's a 25 by 40 shop that had some old equipment partly installed that was exposed to weather and damaged before the new owner put a roof on and finished the shop.

I'm removing all old receptacles (6) and switches.(5) removing 3 single gang boxes for receptacles, and 1 single gang for switch, relocating a 3 gang box. And then installing all new switches and plugs in those boxes. Then installing 3 new single gangs for receptacles in different locations. There will be 6 lights (on 2 switches) and a ceiling fan installed inside and 4 exterior lights added(possibly motion detected). As well as running wire for those circuits 1 20 amp circuit and 2 (or 3) 15 amp circuits. And adding those breakers into the new and empty panel There will also be an over head mounted 7500 watt heater close to the panel with a receptacle and 40 amp circuit. He is providing all the materials I'm just doing the install. I was thinking somewhere between $600 and $800 (Canadian) is that too high or low I have no idea really.
