I get this picture in an email from a site super on one of my projects. I’m an area superintendent. We subcontract out our residential work when we have a project that has both resi and commercial like this apartment complex. But as the project electrical superintendent, I’m responsible for all the electrical work done.

I love chewing ass on Thursday when I’m taking Friday off. Someone is about to have a bad day. This shit is unacceptable.

Not just because they drilled through the pipe. But they knew they did because they pulled Romex through it. Left it as is walked away and didn’t say shit to anyone to fix it.

For all you apprentices (and not a few journeymen). If you fuck something up that belongs to another trade MAKE THEM AWARE! I promise the ass chewing will be a lot less than if we find out later and you didn’t say shit.

Had they pressurized this pipe with water and then found it I would have ran the whole crew of subs off the job. Had it been my guy I’d have fired him on the spot.
